Boosting RE as Part of China’s Energy System Revolution

Boosting RE in China is a 5-year project targeting RE policy strategy research program funded by Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), the Danish government and the German BMWI.
Using international best-practice experience, the program aims to boost the deployment of RE, encourage the dominant role of RE in the future China energy system, and ultimately promote the transformation of China’s energy system into a economic sustainable, environmental friendly and low-carbon system.
The Energy Research Institute, NDRC, is, as the executing agency of the program, organising the experts from China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC), the US-based National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the Danish Energy Agency, GIZ, Agora Energiewende and DENA, who work together on the different research tasks.
