On October 12, 2015, ERI and CNREC held the workshop of “RE Development Situation and Outlook—focus on 2020, Prospect of 2030”. This workshop is one academic exchange activity of “ Renewables pushing China energy reforming Research” project undertaken by ERI/CNREC and funded by CIFF. There were more than 40 RE experts from China, USA, Denmark and Germany attending this workshop.
Mr. Li Peng, the Deputy-director of New Energy Department of NEA gave a speech, who affirmed the research direction and content of “Renewables pushing China energy reforming Research” project funded by CIFF, simultaneously pointed out that the project team should fulfill itself research advantage, better work on research and design of economic incentive policies based on the international experiences. Mr. Wang Zhongying, the director of CNREC also emphasized in his speech that in recent period the development difficulty of China RE development is not technical problem but Interest adjustment mechanism problem, 2020 and 2030 are critical time nodes, did hope international policy experiences helpful for China policy research and design.
Ms Ella Zhou from NREL, Mr. Niels Bisgaard Pedersen from DEA, Mr. Morten Pindstrup from Energinet.dk and Mr. Paul Rechnagell from GIZ separately made the topic speech, introducing and discussing U.S. Renewable Energy Policy and Industry, EU RE and Climate Policy Update, The power market reform in Denmark and EU and The RE development objectives in short and medium term and power market update in Germany. Ms. Shi Jingli, the professor of CNREC introduced the research results of China RE development situation and outlook. The experts attending the meeting communicated and discussed the RE development experiences and future development trend in USA, EU, Denmark, Germany and China.
